Cosumnes River College Athletics is committed to providing comprehensive sports medicine services that support the health, safety, and success of every student-athlete. Our athletic training staff plays an essential role in delivering high-quality medical care through the prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and management of athletic injuries and illnesses. Working collaboratively with team physicians, coaches, and other healthcare professionals, our athletic trainers provide individualized care designed to keep student-athletes healthy and competing at their highest level.
The primary goal of our sports medicine program is to help student-athletes return to participation as safely and efficiently as possible while prioritizing their long-term health and well-being. From immediate injury evaluation on the field to comprehensive rehabilitation in the athletic training facility, our athletic trainers utilize evidence-based practices and individualized treatment plans to support every stage of recovery. Beyond injury care, they are dedicated to educating student-athletes on injury prevention, performance enhancement, and overall wellness, ensuring they have the resources necessary to succeed both in competition and in the classroom.
